I’m setting up YouTube livestream study sessions for the G23 exams. Here’s the tentative schedule:
Saturday, 3/5, 2-4 PM – Intro and Systems Analysis
Saturday, 3/19, 2-4 PM – Preparing Written Material and Logical Reasoning Using Flowcharts
Saturday, 3/26, 2-4 PM – Understanding and Interpreting a Manual and Wrap-Up
The study sessions will start live at 2 PM and go approximately 2 hours or until the topics have been covered, but will be available to watch on-demand afterwards. If you’re able to join the livestream, you will be able to use chat to ask questions and get answers live. It also would mean that I’m not just talking to a void of nothingness, which is nice for me. You’ll need to log in to YouTube with a Google account to join the live chat. You’ll be able to view the livestream without logging in, but you’ll be unable to chat. The live chat will be part of the saved video replay, so please be aware of that when commenting.
There is no cost or registration necessary for these sessions, but I will have an electronic tip jar available so I can pay my chat moderator and to compensate for my time. Details will be given on the streams.
If you want, you can subscribe to the Toner Tutoring YouTube channel to make it easier to join. Theoretically, all the sessions will also be available in this playlist once they air but I haven’t tried that feature of YouTube yet so it may go wonky.
I’m allowing comments on this post, so please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. Thanks! EDIT 2022-03-21 Comments are now closed.
This is a nice informational and helpful site. The question I have is how do one join the livestream on 3/5 and other subsequent streams.
All you have to do is go to the YouTube page at the correct time. I’ll be starting the streams a bit early with a countdown screen going.
Thank you for taking your time to do this! It is appreciated!!
Thanks for the kind words, Beth! I’m just trying to give back and help make the playing field more equitable for IT promotions.
Would you have materials available up somewhere to download?
Hi Sonia, all the current materials should be in the Study Resources category. As new materials are prepared and discussed, they will be uploaded to this site as well.
